  • Working on behalf of Venice Arts, partnered with The Getty Museum to deliver a week long workshop to introduce young people to the work and spirit of the Kamoinge Workshop, a collective of black photographers form in New York in 1963

  • Project delivered in conjunction with the exhibition Working Together: The Photographers of the Kamoinge Workshop

  • Worked with NOMA (New Orleans Museum of Art) and Garrett Bradley to design a 2-week filmmaking intensive for 10 high school aged youth in New Orleans

  • Project delivered and final student films screened in conjunction with Garret Bradley’s America, featured in Bodies of Knowledge exhibition at NOMA

  • Managed all aspects of the project, including hiring the lead teaching artist, coordinating guest artist presentations, designed curriculum, recruited students, tracked attendance, and oversaw communication with students and families

  • Conducted key informant interviews and reviewed an extensive amount of research to determine the feasibility of building apprenticeship pathways into the film and digital media industry
